COMPETITION MARATHON – the biggest paddling marathon in the world.
The Võhandu Marathon is the 2006. The 100-kilometre rowing marathon, which started in 2008,
which takes place on the Võhandu River. The start will be from Lake Tamula in Võru and the marathon will end in
Võõpsu boat harbour in Põlva County. It’s everyone’s story of a river, of beauty and pain, of suffering.

14.00 FOLK-POP ANSAMBLI UURIKAD CONCERT in Lasva Folk Hall.
21 April at 14:00 at Lasva Folk-pop band Uurikad will perform. Tickets €10,
primary school pupil free of charge. Tickets on sale one hour before the concert on site.
Uurikad is a folk ensemble of young people from the village of Uuri, Lahemaa, who are known for their fierce stage energy and inspiring performance!
In addition to singing, we play various acoustic instruments, some even several.
The engaging stories in the studies are about rural life, nature and ancestral heritage,
on friendship and modern life. We’ve given over 100 concerts, recorded an album.
“Happiness came to the yard” and also filmed many music videos.
The uke “The Song of Metsaminemise” has been recorded with Marek Sadama with whom we have been
also shared the stage, and the more recent single “Linnamees läks maale” (“The townsman went to the country”)
is a collaboration with Robert Linna.
