From the very first day, I was captivated by the surrounding nature. The view of the lake from the room window is simply wonderful. In the evening, you can sit on a swing and enjoy the sunset over the water until dusk.

During the day, there is plenty to do. In the morning, you can choose between morning exercise and a walk along the forest trails with the activities coordinator. The forest air is so refreshing that you never feel tired. Even people with mobility difficulties seem to experience a sudden burst of energy!

In addition to the walks, there are plenty of interesting activities planned throughout the week. We listened to a wonderful pianist during dinner and learned about the unique culture of Setomaa.

The sanatorium also offers a great opportunity to dance and enjoy live music. I spent 10 wonderful days here – and I will definitely be coming back! Värska is an amazing place!

The healing benefits of this place come not only from its mineral water springs and therapeutic mud. There is also delicious and healthy food.

And most importantly, there is the attentive and caring staff, whose smiles can lift your spirits even when the weather outside is gloomy and rainy.
