«Värska is a place where time stands still and the city noise is forgotten»
Our path to Värska
About 13 years ago we came to Värska for the first time on the recommendation of a dear friend. At first, we came just to try it out – and we kept coming back. In the beginning, we spent our winter holidays here, but now we prefer summer. The lake here practically calls you to swim and soak up the sun.
We usually take two packages at once, because one week simply isn’t enough – for a real holiday you need more time. And if we didn’t like Värska, we wouldn’t keep returning. But it’s the opposite – we come back again and again.
Why Värska?
First of all, the people – the staff is always wonderful and warm. The food is tasty, the treatments are excellent, and the masseurs are the best we have ever been to. Here you really get help and relief.
The nature is peaceful and beautiful – the perfect place to slow down and get away from the bustle of the city.
A homely feeling
We have traveled a lot around Europe, but Värska has stayed in our hearts.
Galina, whose roots are in Ukraine, also finds a lot of similarities here with her homeland. Here you feel as if you are among your own people.
We have recommended Värska Spa Resort to all our friends. Many of them have become regular visitors. A friend’s daughter, who once went to Israel for similar treatment, tried Värska’s mud and mineral baths once – and now she comes here whenever she can.
Small wishes
If we could wish for something, it would be that people paid more attention to their eating – sometimes it happens that too much good food ends up on the plate.
And for Ruslan, who loves to dance, it would be nice if there were more parties and dance evenings.
In conclusion
Värska is a place where you feel that time stands still. Here the body receives treatment, the soul finds rest, and the heart feels joy. For us, it has truly become a second home.
