Einar from Põlva – “Värska Keeps Calling Me Back”
Einar has been visiting Värska since 2003. It’s not far for him to come, and he smiles, saying he hasn’t really gone elsewhere to compare. Based on what he has heard from others, however, Värska Resort is, in his view, still the best place – so he sees no reason to look for alternatives.
Einar is a recreational athlete. He enjoys skiing, walking and cycling.
He appreciates that a spa was opened in Värska – after treatments and walks, it’s nice to swim and relax in the saunas.
His favourite treatments are the mud bath and massage. Einar highlights the friendly staff and tasty meals, adding with a laugh that one has to be careful with the latter – it’s easy to overindulge.
He also reminisces about earlier times and says he would like to enjoy a little dancing after the weekday cultural evenings. “No point sitting in the room, but people have become very passive,” Einar says.
