Heated stones are placed on the body that give warmth and energy when in contact with the body. The warmth of the stones relieves muscle tensions, extends blood vessels, regulates digestion, metabolism and hormonal system.
The warmth opens organism's different energetic channels and unclogs energetic blocks leaving the patient feel more energetic.
Hot Stone massage has a long history as the healing effects were already enjoyed by Ancient Roman emperors, Indians and the Chinese. The lava stones that are used in the massage have gained their energy from fire, sun and water. This oriental treatment unites energetic centers or chakras with stone and hand massage and affecting chakras with half precious stones.
