Seto Farm Museum


Seto Farm Museum gives a chance to take a look at the farm architecture, tools and crafts of the end of XIX century and the beginning of XX century.

The exposition has a half closed couryard, dwelling house, cloth, crop and food granaries, barn with hay barn, workshop, farm shelters, smoke sauna, pottery, blacksmith's workshop, threshing barn and cafe Tsäimaja (Tea House). Most of the buildings are originals from Northern Setomaa. In addition you can witness various exhibitions about old, new, crafts, arts, archeology and history. You can also take part in the Orthodox Christmas Day, Seto Lace Day, folklore nights, folk calendar events and farm work.

HOW TO GO from sanatorium with public transport: museum is opened from Tuesday to Saturday. The bus departs from sanatorium's bus stop at 10:27 and arrives at Seto Farm Museum at 10:38. The bus departs from Seto Farm Museum's bus stop at 12:18 and arrives back in sanatorium at 12:27.

One way bus ticket costs 0,50 euros. Pre-schoolers are free of charge. Museum ticket for adults is 2 euros, children 1 euro, pensioners and pre-schoolers are free of charge. Guided museum tour in Estonian is 10 euros per group.
